Understanding policies and responding effectively to sexual harassment in the workplace is important, but how do we get ahead of that? Participants in this workshop will explore their own role in creating a culture in their office, lab or classroom that stops harassment before it takes place.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
Distinguish between harassment, discrimination and inappropriate behaviour
Understand the role of power dynamics in sexual harassment
Recognize impacts of sexual harassment
Contribute to creating a healthier workplace environment
